Peter has completed 35 years in the City of London, specializing in providing service to the African Insurance Industry. Peter started his career in 1967 at Robert Bradford/Grieve & Irwin Insurance Brokers and left that company to work with Bray Gibb in 1970. He is presently the Managing Director of CKRe Limited, an International Reinsurance Broker.

He is a registered EU Insurance Broker and UK Insurance Broker via the GISC.

Peter is married to an Indian National, and therefore has a very good insight into matters to do with ethnic minorities. He has travelled extensively throughout Africa and this has broadened his mind and allowed him to take in many different ideas and philosophies. His overseas travel exposure has given him a substantial understanding of many problems as well as how to tackle them head-on.

He is a trustee of an NGO in Uganda, involved in building of schools for children deprived of education due to the death of their parents, mainly from AIDS.
